Emerald Lake

start of day 2 of the ride. had spent the previous evening in a yoho national park overflow campsite, surrounded by train noises endlessly replayed throughout the night, courtesy of the surrounding peaks. thank the gawds l was freezing to death or l would have missed every single second of them.

quick gas stop in field bc, followed by a quick tour of said village l have been passing for 20 years without so much of a glance at. lots of hostels etc...probably catering to the folks playing in the woods.

then on to emerald lake. l have been here many years earlier....and still a powerful place to have powerful memories from.
